Firestorm Events

Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in participating in our 3-day adventure charity event. Before completing your registration, please carefully review the following terms and conditions, which govern your participation in this event.

1. Registration and Fees

All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee of £150 per person. This fee covers administrative costs and is non-refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawal or cancellation.
The registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registration to secure your place in the event.

2. Sponsorship Requirement

In addition to the registration fee, each participant must raise a minimum of £6,000 in sponsorship to attend the event.
All sponsorship funds must be received no later than 14 days prior to the start of the event. Failure to meet this requirement may result in forfeiture of your place in the event without refund of the registration fee.
Sponsorship funds must be paid directly to the charity, and participants are responsible for ensuring that all sponsorship is collected and submitted on time.

3. Cancellation and Withdrawal

If you choose to withdraw from the event at any time, the £150 registration fee is non-refundable.
Any sponsorship funds already raised at the time of withdrawal will be retained by the charity and cannot be refunded to sponsors.
In the event that the participant does not raise the minimum sponsorship amount of £6,000, their place may be forfeited, and the registration fee will not be refunded.

4. Substitution Policy

If, after registering, you are unable to participate, you may request to transfer your place to another individual, subject to approval by the charity.
Any substitute participant must pay their own non-refundable registration fee and meet the same fundraising requirements.
Substitutions must be made at least 30 days prior to the event, and requests must be submitted in writing.

5. Event Cancellation

In the unlikely event that the charity cancels the adventure due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., extreme weather, governmental restrictions, or other force majeure events), the charity will provide alternative event options or reschedule the event. However, the registration fee remains non-refundable.
Sponsorship funds raised will continue to benefit the charity even if the event is canceled.

6. Health and Safety

Participants are required to complete a health and safety waiver before attending the event. This includes disclosing any medical conditions that may affect their participation.
Participants agree to adhere to all safety protocols and instructions provided by event organizers during the adventure.

7. Insurance

Participants are responsible for obtaining their medical insurance for the event. The charity does not provide insurance for participants.

8. Photography and Media

By participating in the event, you grant the charity permission to use any photographs, videos, or media taken during the event for promotional purposes, without compensation or prior approval.

9. Liability

The charity and its affiliates will not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property arising from your participation in the event unless caused by the charity’s gross negligence.

10. Agreement to Terms

By registering for the event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Your participation is conditional upon adherence to these terms.
